The light was pretty amazing in Cardiff Bay today especially at sunset. I wandered out in front of the Senydd and took a few shots of the sky and the setting sun.
The clouds had some pretty amazing shapes and the St David’s Hotel and the surrounding apartment blocks looked great in silhouette.
Incidently HMS Somerset is moored in the Roath Basin at the moment on a visit to Cardiff. Apparently Edwina Hart AM is going on board whilst the ship moves to Avonmouth. Bit of an expensive day trip to Somerset! I find that the Waverley or Balmoral is better value for money!
It’s quite common for the Royal Navy to bring one of their frigates into Cardiff now and again. Normally, they are open to the public for a few hours on the weekend for tours.
Well worth a visit to keep the kids quiet for a bit.
